Get blown away by the Vermont Glass Guild! Artists from the Guild create glass art inspired by ancient objects for a live audience at Randi Solin’s Brattleboro glassblowing studio, Fire Arts Vermont.
BMAC’s Study Collection of Ancient Objects includes more than 300 objects spanning 4,000 years of history and originating from dozens of cultures across the globe. At this event, some of these objects will be selected to inspire three-person teams of Vermont Glass Guild members to create new glass sculptures. These glass pieces will be auctioned off at a later date to raise money for the Vermont Glass Guild’s education fund.
