Who says museum guides have to be grown-ups? At BMAC, kids can become official Junior Museum Guides, leading tours for family, friends, and anyone else they’d like to show around! It’s a fun way for young people to share their discoveries, build confidence, and make the museum their own.

Becoming a Junior Museum Guide is easy—and free! Children can earn their certification during a school field trip to BMAC or by participating in a special 90-minute training session with BMAC education staff. Each new guide receives a personalized Junior Museum Guide card, authorizing them to lead tours during regular museum hours.

When Junior Museum Guides return to BMAC to lead a tour, they get to wear an official badge so everyone knows they’re “on duty.” They also get their Junior Museum Guide card punched after each tour, earning special rewards along the way.
