2012 Scholastic Art & Writing Award Winners from Vermont
A note from Kat Hendrix, Director of National Programs & Partnerships at the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers:
“The Alliance is pleased to report that all region deadlines have now passed and there were more than 200,000 submissions of art and writing this year!
On Wednesday, February 8, the Alliance will post a list of all Regional Gold Key winners from across the country on its national site.
National adjudication will take place throughout the month of February. Thursday, March 15 is National Notification Day! On this day, all Gold Key Award winners and their teachers can log into their accounts to find out whether they received a National Medal. Paper notifications will follow the online notification.”
Award Winning Art and Writing will be on exhibit at BMAC Saturday, February 11 through the award ceremony on Saturday, February 18th. Hours are 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., admission free. The awards ceremony on February 18 begins at 1 p.m. and is open to the public. Both award-winning art and writing will be on exhibit.
