Curtains Without Borders

October 10, Thursday, 7:30 p.m.

Christine Hadsel, Director of Curtains Without Borders, takes us on a tour of some of the most artistic and interesting historic stage scenery in northern New England. There will be curtains from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, some of them from opera houses, some from town halls and some from Grange Halls. One of the scenic artists was from Brattleboro … find out who he was and what he painted.

This event is presented in connection with the exhibit Suspended World: Vermont’s Historic Scenic Curtains.

Admission: $5 adults, seniors, and students; free for BMAC members and children under 6.
