BMAC is here today in part because people who came before us believed in its future. Their generosity helped build and sustain a place where art, creativity, and community can flourish. A planned gift is a way to carry that tradition forward—and help ensure that BMAC will be here for generations to come.
Memberships, annual gifts, and contributions to exhibitions and programs make BMAC’s work possible today. A planned gift makes a different kind of promise: that future generations deserve the same opportunities to discover, create, and connect through art that we enjoy today. And making that promise can be surprisingly simple. By including BMAC in your will or naming the museum as a beneficiary, you can provide for the people you love while also making a gift to BMAC’s future—without parting with assets during your lifetime.
“The important work still to be done by the Museum far exceeds that which can be accomplished in my lifetime.”
— Christopher G. Chapman, BMAC planned giving donor
Your planned gift can strengthen BMAC’s endowment, providing support in perpetuity, or help sustain an aspect of the museum’s work that holds special meaning for you. And it can become part of your own personal or family legacy—helping future artists find an audience, children discover their creativity, and neighbors connect through art.
Established in 1997, BMAC’s Sterling Circle recognizes individuals who have made planned gifts to the museum or arranged to do so in the future. If you’ve already included BMAC in your estate plans, please let us know so we can thank you and welcome you to the Sterling Circle.
