Celebrate Fractured, Not Broken, a collaborative quilt project connecting people inside and outside prison walls.

Designed, pieced, and painted by participants in a quilting workshop at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, Vermont, the quilt was created between September 2025 and April 2026. Throughout the spring and summer, members of the Brattleboro community were invited to add their own stitches, transforming the quilt into a shared work of art and a catalyst for dialogue across prison walls.

This gathering celebrates the completion of the project and the many individuals and organizations whose contributions brought it to life.

The incarcerated quilters are JA, DC, DF, QG, FN, JO, and TR.
