Ensemble Amphion Baroque presents Grace and Grandeur: Baroque Masterpieces from France and Germany, a concert of chamber music featuring works by François Couperin, Marin Marais, Louis-Antoine Dornel, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Joachim Quantz, and others.
Led by Vermont-based flutist Jesse Lepkoff, the ensemble is made up of world-class musicians who specialize in the music of the Baroque era. Using historically informed techniques and performing on period instruments, Ensemble Amphion Baroque captures the spirit and sound of the 18th century—music of great passion and style.
In addition to Lepkoff (flute, recorder), members of the ensemble include Marina Minkin (harpsichord), Na’ama Lion (baroque flute), Carol Lewis (viola da gamba), and Owen Wattkins (baroque oboe, recorder).
