Curator Elissa Watters leads a walking tour and discussion of the exhibit The Noise of Us.
Watters served as a guest curator at the Williams College Museum of Art and as the Florence B. Selden Fellow in the Department of Prints and Drawings at the Yale University Art Gallery. She is a Ph.D. student in art history at the University of Southern California. She holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.A. in art history from Williams College and the Clark Art Institute. Previously, she curated the BMAC exhibits Natalie Frank: Painting with Paper and Louisa Chase: Fantasy Worlds.
The Noise of Us showcases the work of four artists—Felipe Baeza, Ori Gersht, Simonette Quamina, and Maika’i Tubbs’s—exploring memory-making and recall through unconventional approaches to collage.
