Workshop: Creating Cardboard Sculptures
January 27, Saturday, 2 p.m.
Join artist Art Costa for a cardboard sculpture-making workshop and discover the possibilities that arise from this ubiquitous, recyclable material. Inspired by Costa’s own artwork, currently featured in Art Costa: Sounds Deep, this workshop will encourage participants to think creatively about how to make whimsical abstract creatures based on deep-sea animals. Participants will start with simple forms and add features to give their creatures color and animation.
This workshop takes place at River Gallery School (32 Main St. #201, Brattleboro, Vermont).
ADMISSION: $35, $20 for members (includes all materials)
