The Living Room
This fall and winter, the museum’s East Gallery has been transformed into The Living Room, a comfy space for visitors to hang out, read, chat, and enjoy rotating displays of artwork created by some of our many talented community members:
Pride Without Borders

A celebration of LGBTQ+ artists who have sought asylum in the U.S. due to persecution in their home countries.
Family & Friends of Jonas Fricke, 1981-2023
November 15, 2023 – December 17, 2023
Artwork by beloved Brattleboro artist Jonas Fricke, whose work encompassed painting, drawing, sculpture, screen printing, tattoos, puppetry, performance art, textiles, and music.
In-Sight Photography Project Youth Pride Photo Contest

In celebration of PRIDE Month last June, LGBTQ+ youth submitted photographs to In-Sight Photography Project’s Youth PRIDE Photo Contest and Exhibition. A juried selection is on display here.
Keene State College Student Art: Intercepting the Waste Stream
January 17, 2024 – February 11, 2024
Led by artist and professor Emily Noelle Lambert, Keene State College students engaged with Aurora Robson’s art and ideas, cleaning waterways and incorporating found materials into assemblage artworks.
