Night Skies & Stories

*NEW DATE* May 22, Sunday, 8 p.m.

Update 5/13/22: Due to cloudy conditions, this event is rescheduled to Sunday, 5/22, at 8 p.m. (it was originally scheduled for Saturday, 5/14.)

Update 5/9/22: This event is fully subscribed. Click here to be added to the waitlist or call 802-257-0124 x101.

Participants will meet at the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center (BEEC) to view the night sky through telescopes, hear a short talk about the night sky, listen to storyteller Michael Caduto, and share their own stories about the moon and stars.

Bring a blanket or a folding chair, and be prepared for a short hike to a viewing hill at BEEC. The rain date for this event is the following day, Sunday, May 15.

This event is presented in connection with Yvette Molina: Big Bang Votive, an ongoing collaborative story-sharing project and art installation. Molina gathers stories from people about what sparks delight or inspires love in their lives. Each person chooses a symbol to represent their story, which Molina renders in egg tempera paint, set against a starry blue field.
