The Volunteers
The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center has enjoyed a long tradition of tremendous community support through volunteer efforts. Volunteers founded the Museum and volunteer committees continue to provide vision, support and leadership.
We are currently looking for friendly, responsible volunteers to greet visitors in the gallery. No experience necessary.
Gallery shifts available:
- Frdays from 11:00 to 2:00 every week
- Mondays from 2:00 to 5:00 every other week.
- Substituting a few shifts a month.
- Some weekend shifts available.
- Staffing the front desk during events.
The Museum always needs new individuals to join its Volunteer Program. There are many interesting and fulfilling ways that you can choose to become involved with the Museum:
- welcoming guests into the museum and collecting admission fees;
- assisting at special events and openings throughout the season;
- providing office support;
- helping in the museum galleries during installation and de-installation of exhibits;
- training to be a docent (museum teacher) for group visits;
- taking on special projects.
