The Volunteers
The Brattleboro Museum & Art Center has enjoyed a long tradition of tremendous community support through volunteer efforts. Volunteers founded the Museum and volunteer committees continue to provide vision, support and leadership.
We are currently looking for friendly, responsible volunteers to help in the gallery and offices. No experience necessary.
Gallery shifts available:
- Substituting a few shifts a month: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, 11am-2pm or 2-5pm.
- Help during evening or weekend events.
Office help can schedule at your convenience between noon and 6 pm weekdays.
The Museum always needs new individuals to join its Volunteer Program. There are many interesting and fulfilling ways that you can choose to become involved with the Museum:
- welcoming visitors into the Museum and collecting fees during the weekdays;
- assisting at evening or weekend events;
- helping with office tasks;
- helping during installation and de-installation of exhibits;
- training to be a docent (museum guide) for group visits;
- taking on specific projects;
- bringing your expertise to a committee.
Contact BMAC about getting involved. Thank you for considering giving BMAC the gift of your time.
