Emily Mason: To Another Place

October 5, 2018 - February 10, 2019

Emily Mason has been painting luminous chromatic abstractions since 1956, when she studied in Venice on a Fulbright Scholarship. This exhibit is the first museum survey of her work. Comprising over 50 paintings and works on paper from 1958 through 2018, To Another Place explores in depth the artistic achievement of an important American artist who has maintained a summer home, garden, and painting studio in Brattleboro since 1967.
