Trees: A Collaborative Performance of Poets & Dancers

Inspired by the exhibits currently on display at BMAC, these performances are presented by Luminz Dance Studio in collaboration with Write Action. Poems were submitted by area poets to Luminz, and three were chosen to have dances choreographed to them. Trees/Arboles by Thomas Griffin will be danced to by Alyse Landis. explore and break free by Mel Martin will be danced to by Cyndal Ellis. Old Beech at Brooklyn Botanic Garden by Arlene Distler will be danced to by Aurora Corsano and Adam Sauve. There will be short poetry readings in between the dances, continuing the theme of trees. Light refreshments will be served.
