River Stories

July 24 - October 24 2010

Rivers are the veins of the earth. Every river has its own character, imprinted by its natural surroundings and those who occupy it. Sandy Gellis’ installation, River Stories, depicts the Connecticut River, which flows directly behind the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center, in words, images, and gathered samples of water, sediment, and rock.

Sandy Gellis’ River Stories is sponsored in part by Marlboro College.
